Terms of Use

Last updated: 23 July 2026

These terms explain what CodingClap is, who may use it, and what we expect from everyone on the platform. By using CodingClap, you agree to them. CodingClap is built and run by Anuj in Bangalore, under Amriculum Education.

1. Who can use CodingClap

CodingClap is for students at schools that have joined the platform. A student can only register using a registration code issued by their school — there is no open signup.

Every student account requires a parent or guardian's consent before it is activated. See our Privacy Policy for how that works.

2. Your account

One account per student. Keep your password to yourself — do not share your login with anyone, and do not use anyone else's. Tell your teacher or write to us if you think someone else has used your account.

3. How the community works

You can post a coding question at any time. Answering is open during the daily answer window: 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday to Saturday, and 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday (India time). This limit is deliberate. CodingClap is a place to get unstuck, not a place to spend your evening.

Everything posted on CodingClap is public within the community and visible to teachers. There is no private messaging.

4. What we expect from you

  • Explain in your own words. The point of CodingClap is that explaining something is how you learn it. Do not paste answers from an AI tool or copy them from a website.
  • Be kind. Everyone here is learning. No insults, no mocking someone for asking a basic question, no bullying.
  • Keep personal information out of posts. Do not post your address, phone number, photographs of yourself, or anyone else's personal details.
  • Stay on topic. CodingClap is for coding questions and answers.
  • Do not post anything unsafe, hateful, or inappropriate.

5. Moderation

Teachers and administrators can hide content and suspend accounts. Students and teachers can report a post they think breaks these rules, and we may remove content or suspend an account that does. Answers that appear to be copied from an AI tool or another website may be removed. Where a student's safety is involved, we will contact their school.

6. Content you post

What you write stays yours. By posting it on CodingClap, you allow us to display it on the platform so other students can learn from it, including after you leave. If you want your content removed, write to us. As explained in our Privacy Policy, we will remove your name from what you posted, though the content itself may remain so other students don't lose answers they are learning from.

7. Availability

CodingClap is an early-stage platform. We will do our best to keep it running and to keep your data safe, but we cannot promise it will be available without interruption, and we may change or pause features.

8. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update this page and the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell schools and parents directly.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
